Collegiate Coffee was asked by a major University to find a way to allow college students to have the ability to brew coffee and tea in their rooms while still complying with local government fire officials regulations which banned all coffee makers due to the inherent fire risks associated with electric hotplates that are prevalent on nearly all coffee makers and electric tea pots.
Our research into this task generated a long list of objectives above and beyond the request for a safe coffee brewer. We determined that not only must the coffee brewer be the safest available on the market today but in addition it must;
- Not contain a hotplate while still brewing a hot cup of coffee
- Be energy efficient
- Be affordable
- Brew both coffee and/or tea
- Be easy to use
- Be compact
- Use the most environmentally friendly products available
- Be easily obtainable
and still brew an exceptionally good cup of coffee!
From the result of these efforts, the "Collegiate Coffee Brewing System" was born.
Not only have all of the objectives been achieved, but the system will also allow you to make hot chocolate, instant soups and other instant dishes that require you to add boiling water.
The "Collegiate Coffee Brewing System" has been reviewed and approved by University and local government fire officials.
The "System" is the most environmentally friendly, affordable and safest way to brew a single cup of coffee available today.
